Sota Seedz was built around the idea that sunflower seeds should be held to a higher standard. From the seed itself to the seasonings on every shell, we wanted to create a product that delivers quality, flavor, and transparency.

Sota Seedz started as an idea in the fields of our family-owned farm, Rookie Farmers. That idea of wanting to create something with the organic sunflowers we were already growing quickly turned into an obsession to do sunflower seeds differently.
We saw an opportunity to raise the standard for what a sunflower seed should be, from how it's grown to how it's roasted and seasoned. Backed by our Green Fox team, we set out to build a new brand focused on quality at every step.
From the name “Sota Seedz” to the “Seedz with Standards” promise, our Minnesota roots and commitment to better ingredients are at the core of everything we do.
By combining our regenerative farming practices, small-batch approach, and commitment to organic ingredients, Sota Seedz delivers sunflower seeds with better flavor. And that all starts in our family’s organic sunflower fields in Central Minnesota.
Rookie Farmers proudly grows and harvests our organic sunflowers using chemical-free, regenerative farming practices. Which creates more quality crops and a more sustainable future. After harvest, the Rookies bring the sunflowers down the road to our Green Fox facility.
Our real-person team small-batch dry roasts the sunflower seeds to give each seed the best possible crunch. Each batch is then seasoned by hand using 100% real, organic ingredients. Once perfectly seasoned, we package them up and get them ready for the ballpark, lake, car, and everywhere in between.
We believe that sunflower seeds should have standards. And that belief is backed by the quality and transparency we have at every step of our process, from our Minnesota farm to a filled bag of seeds.
