Green Fox Introduces Green Fox Manufacturing

Here at Green Fox, we’re always striving to push the potential for our agricultural fibers. From growing and sourcing natural fibers to developing products that put those materials to work, we’re continually looking for new ways to create value from the crops we grow and the materials we work with every day.

Now, we’re taking that work a step further with the introduction of Green Fox Manufacturing. Green Fox Manufacturing expands our capabilities into fiber processing and airlay nonwoven manufacturing, giving us the ability to work with natural and sustainable fibers and help turn them into functional materials for a variety of industries.

From farm-grown fibers to manufactured materials

Green Fox’s roots are in agriculture. Our experience working with crops and natural fibers gives us a unique perspective on the materials we process. We know where many of these fibers begin and how they grow, and we’re interested in finding new ways to increase their value through processing and manufacturing.

Green Fox Manufacturing allows us to take another step into that supply chain, from fiber to finished material. By combining our agricultural expertise with manufacturing capabilities, we can explore new applications for fibers including hemp, flax, cellulose, cotton, and wood fiber while helping customers develop materials suited to their specific needs.

For us, manufacturing isn't just about producing a material. It’s about creating more opportunities for agricultural fibers to become part of products people and businesses use every day.

What is green fox manufacturing

Green Fox Manufacturing is a U.S.-based manufacturing partner specializing in sustainable, fiber-based products made with airlay nonwoven technology. Our unique operating model allows us to work with teams at different stages of the product development and manufacturing process.

Whether a customer is looking for specific finished products, raw natural fibers, or guidance on manufacturing needs, our team can support the process from ideation to production through:

1. OEM Manufacturing

2. co-manufacturing

3. toll manufacturing

powered by airlay nonwoven technology

A key part of Green Fox Manufacturing’s capabilities is our Cormatex airlay nonwoven machine. Our airlay nonwoven line gives us the flexibility to process a wide range of fibers including:

    • Hemp
    • Flax
    • Cellulose
    • Cotton
    • Wood fibers
    • Custom fiber blends

This flexibility allows us to work with the different natural fibers grown on our family farm to custom blends based on a partner’s requirements and intended application. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, airlay processing provides an opportunity to develop and manufacture nonwoven mats, pads, and panels for a broad range of applications.

where can natural fiber materials be used?

Natural fibers have been used in products for generations, but advances in fiber processing and nonwoven manufacturing are creating new opportunities for these materials across a variety of industries.

While the potential applications for natural and sustainable fiber-based materials are broad, Green Fox Manufacturing is a leading manufacturing partner across industries including:

1. acoustics and sound management

Fiber-based nonwoven materials for acoustic applications requiring sound absorption and interior performance.

Hemp fiber acoustic panels

2. animal care

Biodegradable, fiber-based materials for poultry nesting pads, pet cage liners, bedding, and other animal-care applications.

supporting custom materials development and production

One of the advantages of working with natural fibers is their versatility. The same fiber can potentially be processed or combined in different ways to create materials with very different characteristics and uses. By working directly with customers, Green Fox Manufacturing can evaluate different fibers, blends, and processing approaches to determine what may work best for a specific application.

Not every project starts with a finished product. Sometimes it starts with a question or an idea. Green Fox Manufacturing provides the flexibility to explore those questions and ideas through custom airlaid nonwoven material processing, fiber blending, and manufacturing.

For customers with established products, we can provide a manufacturing partner to support production. For those developing something new, we can help explore how different fibers and material combinations can work within a finished application. We see that flexibility as an important part of what Green Fox Manufacturing brings to the table.

What's next for green fox manufacturing?

The launch of Green Fox Manufacturing is another step in Green Fox’s continued growth and is an opportunity to explore what’s possible when agriculture, fiber, and manufacturing come together.

We’re excited to continue developing new applications for natural and sustainable fibers, working with customers on custom products, and expanding the ways we can bring fiber-based solutions to market.

Whether you have an established material that needs a manufacturing partner or you’re exploring an entirely new application, we’d love to start a conversation.
